Agros is a quiet, hospitable village in a more remote area amidst vineyards on the sunny southern side of the mountain range. There are a few restaurants and cafés in the village, and the unspoilt area offers plenty of opportunities for lovely walks. The height of Mount Olympus in the Troodos Mountains is 1,952 metres. In 2008, the village of Agros was awarded as one of the top 20 European Destinations of Excellence at the European Annual Tourism Forum in Bordeaux.
